Introduction to Thailand!

Once you have arrived in big old Bangkok, settled in and have washed that jet-lag away, we will call an orientation so that your guide can explain more about your time with us in Thailand. Group meetings will happen each evening to enable us to get your feedback and so that we can explain what will be happening next, so at no point should you feel that you have no idea what is happening. These group meetings are very important so everybody can be properly prepared for what’s coming next. A good volunteer knows what their ‘mission’ is for that day, why we are doing what we’re doing and how your efforts truly make the difference.

The Bamboo Project work and support locally operated NGOs on almost all of their projects. This ensures that the work you do is actually required, does help those it promises too and that your financial investment goes a very long way. Team Bamboo have a combined experience of over 20 years working with volunteers from around the globe so you can be assured that the service you receive is based on them knowing pretty much everything there is to know! If you have a question right now, contact us here and we’ll put you directly in touch with the team.

The Bamboo Project guarantee that you’re time with them will be us unforgettable for you as it is positive for those it impacts. Whether you’re looking to teach English, work with rescued animals, walk with elephants, or help the regeneration of the oceans coral reefs, you will become a member of the family, you will make a difference and you will have the very best service available.

Where will you stay?

Bangkok: Your first two nights will be in a comfortable guest house located on the world famous Khao San Road.
