Terms & Conditions for our trips via Backpacker Bookings
- Any payments that you make through our trip booking website ‘Backpacker Bookings’, is an authorisation only, of a deposit for the selected trip. This means that the amount is ‘held’ by Paypal until a full agreement between the customer (you) and the trip provider has been finalised.
- If your selected date is not available, the trip provider will contact you with the nearest alternative. If no alternative is suitable the deposit will be fully refunded. In addition, if the trip is fully booked, your deposit will be fully refunded.
- Every trip provider will have a different policy on when they require the remaining balance of the trip/ Some require payment 24 hours before departure, others require payment upon arrival at the trip destination. You will be informed of the policy once your trio date is confirmed the deposit has been accepted.
- Once the date is confirmed by the Trip Provider and yourself, deposits are non-refundable.
- Upon confirmation of trip booking your contract will be with the trip provider.
- Backpacker Bookings is solely a booking website and accepts no responsibility for any problems which may occur in the interim period between paying for your deposit and arriving at the trip destination.
- Backpacker Bookings accepts no responsibility for any injuries, theft or any other problems whatsoever, which may occur during the trip. Complaints should be directed to the trip provider.
- We cannot personally recommend the trips that are available for booking through Backpacker Bookings, nor can we be liable if someone does not have a good time. We strongly encourage you to read other reviews and do your own research to decide whether the trip is suitable for you.
